EDI Engineer

Required Skills/Experience:

This individual must:

-Demonstrated skills and depth with data integration

-Individually, as well, share OPS EDI team high-demand workload

-Manage and prioritize multiple and concurrent external and internal stakeholder EDI support requirements and problems, and, contribute / lead operational improvements

-At least 5 years EDI experience, including standard messaging protocols, Trading Partner Envelope management, and VAN's

- Day-to-day role includes supporting Toyota suppliers with issues receiving their EDI Forecasts, Requirements, or Payment Remittance, and, assisting processing supplier EDI Invoice and ASN documents required for ePayment in SAP. Interactions are mainly with non-technical supplier contacts in production, logistics, or accounting who have little-to-no EDI knowledge and experience. Additionally, working with IBM (Toyota's EDI service provider) for establishing new supplier trading relationships.

Preferred candidate will have experience:

- ANSI X12, EDI Translator mapping, SAP interfaces, IBM mainframe, DB2, and SFG (Sterling File Gateway), Service Now, and IBM's InFlight and Document Tracking

- cross-platform and multi-teams IT work-flow

- large automotive, or, manufacturing
