EDI Financial Specialist-Arizona

Job Description

This position is a Hybrid positions. This individual will work one week in Scottsdale, one week Phoenix and one week at home. Must live within reasonable driving distance from the Phoenix and Scottsdale campuses.

The Executive Development & International Financial Specialist (EDIFS) acts as a liaison between Mayo Clinic and patients meeting criteria for EDI services. The EDIFS is responsible for coordinating, facilitating and overseeing the patient experience and performing related administrative tasks. The EDIFS assists all EDI patients with billing, insurance and coverage issues, authorization, and financial concerns. This position is responsible for helping all EDI patients understand their financial obligations and provide a mechanism of support for the EDI patient population, prior to, during and following medical care. This role requires adherence to quality assurance guidelines as well as established productivity standards to support the work unit's performance expectations.
