Editorial Intern - Remote

Grow your career as an Editorial Intern within Trisept Solutions, one of our 14 industry-leading brands. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining website content for VAX VacationAccess. The editorial intern will research, write and maintain articles for The Compass, a collection of original articles exclusive to the VAX website, as well assist in the creation of other VAX website content. A successful candidate must have experience writing and editing content (preferably digital), the ability to write under a deadline, a solid understanding of AP Style and an interest in writing for the leisure travel industry.

A successful Editorial Intern will:

• Conceptualize, research, write, edit and manage website content that drives high engagement
• Write articles and website content in the VAX voice and follow VAX branding guidelines and AP Style guidelines
• Interview subject matter experts and use as a source for content
• Analyze content performance metrics and adjust content or promotion to meet goals
• Audit and maintain content library to keep content fresh and up to date
• Help with additional engagement and website content projects as needed to achieve our business goals

A successful Editorial Intern will have:

• Working toward a Bachelor's degree in journalism or English from four-year college or university with focus on writing
• Must be at a junior or senior standing at the start of the internship, and a 3.0 or higher grade point average is preferred
• Excellent research and writing skills, preferably with a focus on digital content
• Solid understanding of AP Style
• Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
• Expertise using Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent interpersonal, consultative and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent organizational, planning, facilitation and prioritization skills
• Ability to solve problems under time constraints
• Must work effectively with others in a professional manner
• Ability to handle multiple tasks within a defined time period
• Microsoft Office
