As an Education Coordinator, your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing administrative support in the development, implementation and administration of education programs.
- Coordinating educational conferences, maintenance of records and evaluations, support for the budget monitoring process and collaboration with other team members to ensure quality educational programs.

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Participates in the design, development, implementation, modification and evaluation of the education programs for the Institute.
- Participates in activities to improve operational practices and procedures.
- Participates in the development of training modules in accordance with appropriate standards related to the specific discipline.
- Schedules, conducts and monitors training classes.
- Assists in the development and administration of appropriate testing to ensure compliance with program policies.
- Manages special projects at the direction of supervisor. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Participation in the development of marketing plans and may be primarily responsible for execution of plan, monitoring revenue and expenses to ensure that project stays within budget, coordinating special events, seminars, meetings, didactic lectures and other activities as required. This may include securing hotel accommodations, travel, meal planning, certification forms, audio visual requirements, honorarium processing, etc. May assist in development of syllabus material which includes design, review of content and assembly to include required information for accreditation compliance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education:
- High School diploma required.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, education or related field preferred.
Certifications:
- None required.
Complexity of Work:
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Work Experience:
- Three years of related experience, including at least one year of leading or coordinating projects, operations, or educational meetings.
- A Bachelor's degree may offset up two years of required experience.
- Knowledge of educational accreditation policies and procedures a plus.
- Strong organizational skills to coordinate and oversee a multitude of activities and functions.
- Working knowledge and experience with regulatory policies and procedures preferred.
- Proficient at intermediate level with personal computers and software.
- Knowledge of basic accounting and marketing principles preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Typical physical demands include a high degree of dexterity sufficient to operate a personal computer in the course of work.
- Normal or corrected vision.
- Extensive sitting and frequent walking.
- Occasional lifting or carrying of 5 to 15 pounds.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
