Job Description
We are taking High School Esports to the next level with a curriculum to guide students through the Esports Ecosystem, leading to college and career opportunities.
The Curriculum Sales Executive will be selling our Gaming Concepts Curriculum to schools and school districts. Gaming Concepts, a video game curriculum for schools, is an educator's guide to teaching college and career-ready skills, social-emotional learning, and digital citizenship through the lens of video games. The STEM.org approved curriculum includes 81 lessons complete with lesson overviews, content standards addressed, materials needed, and directions.
We are looking for an experienced K12 sales executive with experience selling curriculum (preferably CTE/STEAM), who will be hands-on with CTE Departments, school and district administrators, as well as regional and state organizations to develop their Esports curriculum offerings. Deals can range from $1,000 a year to over $500,000/year, depending on the size of the implementation. Highly skilled educators with Esports and curriculum knowledge will also be considered. An education background is a must (either through sales or in a school/district).

You recognize the value that esports brings to middle and high school students in terms of leadership skills, development of perseverance, increase in student engagement and sense of belonging, and opening up college and career opportunities.
What you will do:
- Take ownership and be the leader of your territory.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan, working with our Education Team, Success Team, Partnership Team, and Marketing Team, as well as the National Sales Director.
- Leverage existing K12 contacts to introduce esports curriculum solutions.
- Prospect new leads in the Secondary School market.
- Build close relationships with school and district administrators.
- Manage and maintain customer buying journey progress in our CRM (Hubspot) database for proper data tracking.
- Schedule meetings and follow-ups with engaged prospects and existing customers.
- Create new sales, upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Conduct regional market research to identify selling opportunities and evaluate customer needs.
- Conduct needs analysis, perform platform demonstrations of the content on our LMS, write proposals, and process POs.
- Achieve Quarterly and Annual Revenue Quota Targets.
Requirements
- Tech-savvy
- 4+ years of hands-on sales experience in the K12/education/edtech space for software and/or 4+ years of education experience at the school or district level.
- CRM experience is a plus
