Job description
Master’s degree in Special Education, Educational Diagnostics, Psychology or a related field, active Educational Diagnostician license, and 1+ years Educational Diagnostician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an experienced Educational Diagnostician to support K-12 students in Irving, TX. This position offers a full school year contract working in a dynamic school environment focused on helping students with specific learning needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments for Specific Learning Disabilities, Developmental Delays, and various Academic Challenges.
• Collaborate with MTSS team members to develop and implement effective IEP goals tailored to individual student needs.
• Participate actively in Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) meetings.
• Work closely alongside the School Psychologist to ensure comprehensive student evaluations.
• Utilize a dedicated testing space equipped with all necessary materials for accurate evaluation.
Qualifications:
• Active Texas Educational Diagnostician certification is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in educational diagnostics preferred.
• Bilingual fluency is essential to effectively communicate with a diverse student population (bilingual certification is not required).
