Educator Relations Advisor

Course Hero is on a mission to help students graduate, confident and prepared and we are expanding this mission to Australia. Course Hero supports college educators and students with course-specific resources and 24/7 online tutoring services, as well as programming and professional development events for higher education instructors.  

This position will report to the VP of Academics and will oversee all of our educator relations with higher education professors and institutions in Australia. This is a one year part-time (10h/week) contract role located in Australia, with potential to extend.

The Role: 

The Educator Relations Advisor is a current or former educator responsible for building strong relationships and partnerships with university professors, administrators, and leaders. They will clearly and effectively communicate Course Hero's mission and the purpose of our platform to the educator community, aligning on our mutual goal of helping students graduate confident and prepared.

• You’ll represent and communicate Course Hero’s mission and initiatives to university educators, administrators and education officials in Australia. 
• You’ll identify and connect with educators in your network and on the Course Hero platform to build strong, long-lasting relationships and explore collaboration opportunities. 
• You’ll serve as an effective advocate for our Academic Integrity efforts that will establish Course Hero publicly as a responsible thought leader and innovator.

Are you our Educator Relations Advisor? 

• You are a current or former lecturer or professor teaching in Higher Education who has spent at least 10+ years teaching in higher education or at university level and has earned at least a Master's Degree.
• You have experience working with higher education institutions, and teaching, learning, and research centres. 
• You’ve built relationships with a large network of university educators.

• You’re comfortable spearheading academic relations among senior education leaders and leading Course Hero’s academic integrity efforts in the region. 
• You have strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
