Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Electrical engineering for control and power panel integration into chiller products. Experience in the design and/or integration of variable frequency power electronics is preferred.
- Ability to size and select applicable electrical components and wiring to operate motors, valves, etc.
- Ability to create, edit and read electrical power and control schematics.
- Ability to create and modify I/O mapping of electronic controls.
- Collaborate with product management, software, chiller systems, and compression engineering to define controls and motor controller requirements.
- Work with the supply chain to identify suppliers to produce our control and motor control solutions.
- Provide oversight of our control and motor control products.
- Ensure code compliance is maintained.
Travel: Less than 10%, International
Candidate Attributes:
- BS or MS in Electrical or related engineering
- 0 to 5 years of experience in this technology space
- Project leadership experience preferred
- HVAC industry experience preferred
- Strong communication skills, primarily in English
- Leadership and teamwork skills required
