The expected annual salary range for this role is $62,300 - $91,300 a year.

Position Overview:
Reporting to the EHS Manager the primary responsibility of this position is to assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of an effective facility-wide health and safety management system. This individual will create and/or enhance and maintain effective policies and processes which will be incorporated into the Health and Safety Management System throughout the Moon Township facility.
This role will require working closely with site team members to ensure roles and responsibilities are well defined and understood. The individual must work well on both self-initiated projects and those driven by business needs. This position is responsible for assisting in establishing EHS objectives and targets, and ensuring programs are in compliance with Federal, State and Eaton requirements.

In this function you will: • Assists/lead risk assessment process (Energy Control, Machine Guarding, Ergonomic, Site and Equipment level, etc) at the location to identify critical EHS hazards and aspects. Works with area managers to implement controls for key EHS risks.• Based on key EHS risks and business needs, supports the development, maintenance, and achievement of EHS Targets & Objectives for the facility leadership team, functional managers, front-line supervisors and individual contributors to drive EHS culture, compliance, and results.• Assist/lead incident investigations to determine root cause(s) and corrective actions, and follow-up on the implementation of effective risk mitigation and corrective actions.• Establishes and maintains action logs to track corrective and preventive actions.• Stay abreast of open workers' compensation claims and ensure cases are managed appropriately. Assist in maintaining OSHA logs and posts summaries.• Assist MESH element champions and facilitate their engagement in ownership of the MESH elements. • Works with MESH element champions to complete an annual evaluation and assist in action planning to close any identified deficiencies. • Uses established EHS data processes such as MESH PRISM to manage data such as injuries and illnesses, environmental metrics, risk assessments, EHS action items and other pertinent information.• Assist in the management of environmental permits and regulatory requirements (eg. air, water, waste).• Proof, write, review, update and support implementation of EHS programs, procedures, reports and training as required by Eaton Policy and all Federal, State, and Local regulatory agencies.• Customize, coordinate, and conduct education and training related to processes developed; assist, as necessary, with the coordination and/or development of department training materials• Be a daily change agent driving continuous improvement• Coordinate, conduct and follow-up on EHS audits and inspections.• Drives and promotes zero incident EHS culture throughout site.• Supporting efforts to ensure and track all key EHS operational controls to be in place and EHS action items resolved on a timely basis
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution - preference given to those with a degree in safety management, environmental management, or industrial technology
- Minimum two (2) years' experience in environmental, health and safety - in lieu of experience graduate work/degree in safety or environmental management will be considered
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within 50 miles of Moon Township, PA will be considered for this position.
Preferred Qualifications: • Ergonomics experience• Experience working in a manufacturing or R&D environment• Understanding of ISO 14001 standards and internal auditor
