EH&S ANALYST III

Job Overview
TE Connectivity's Environmental Health & Safety Teams ensure and monitor safety in the workplace. This includes the application and communication of health, safety and hazardous material standards, procedures and practices consistent with TE, environmental and government regulations.
Responsibilities• Build and maintain a positive culture of engagement in EH&S throughout the site.• Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental legislation.• Ensure all environmental permits are up to date and permit reporting requirements are completed.• Maintain an effective EH&S management system for the site.• Develop site EH&S strategy and recommend site EH&S goals and objectives to improve performance.• Ensure all TE safety initiatives and programs are deployed to achieve the site's EH&S goals and strategy.• Ensure that EH&S risks are assessed, quantified and prioritized. Ensure they are controlled and managed.• Communicate with all levels in the organization on EH&S to engage with, influence and partner with the Plant Manager, managers, supervisors and employees. • Audit and evaluate the performance of the EH&S management system. Create corrective action plans.• Deliver EH&S training to site leadership and employees. Create EH&S training plans and monitor execution. • Ensure site management establish teams and provide leadership for driving EH&S improvements, for example site safety teams; environmental and sustainability teams; ergonomics teams; energy teams and behavior-based safety teams.• Participate and support managers in incident investigations and advise management on corrective actions.• Monitor legislation changes and implement any new requirements to ensure compliance.• Participate in EH&S inspections and audits.• Be an active member and share best practices with other members of the TE global EH&S community.• Report all EH&S data as required by TE and applicable legal requirements.• Ensure additional EH&S expertise and resources are identified as needed and requests made to the Plant Manager.• Encourage management recognition of behaviors and results which drive EH&S improvements
What your background should look like:
Ed Education and Experience
- University degree, post graduate qualification or equivalent qualification in a safety or environmental discipline.
- Professional EH&S Certification preferred, e.g. Chartered Safety Practitioner, Certified Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, etc.
- 5+ years EH&S experience, at least 2 of which must be in an EH&S leadership role.
- Experience in a technical, engineering or manufacturing role preferred.
- Demonstrated communication, negotiation, influencing, collaboration and team building skills are required.
- Thorough knowledge of EH&S legal requirements.
- Demonstrated ability in conducting EH&S audits and inspections.

COMPENSATION• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $85,920 - $128,880 (subject to change dependent on physical location)• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
