Job Summary:

Reporting to the EH&S Manager, the Coordinator is responsible for helping to carry out the day-to-day operations of the EH&S team and contributing to the application of effective EH&S management by handling administrative tasks and assisting with other field work including coordinating meetings, maintaining safety programs, recordkeeping, assisting with safety walkthroughs, environmental audits, and collecting environmental/industrial hygiene sampling.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with buildings evacuation drills, EH&S training scheduling, and recordkeeping
• Assist with walking the manufacturing floor to establish EH&S presence and provide support
• Track and maintain exposure monitoring data for all facilities
• Maintain equipment inspection logs (i.e., eyewashes, emergency showers, etc.)
• Maintain internal audit and external inspection records as required
• Maintain, track, and file hazardous waste manifests and weekly inspection logs
• Prepare EH&S reports as necessary
• Coordinate monthly safety meetings
• Retain and track hazard assessment forms for new chemicals/equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Associates degree or bachelor's degree
• Strong organizational, time management, organizational and analytic skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite (must be proficient in Excel, i.e., pivot table, chart, VLOOKUP, logical formula)
