ASML Wilton is seeking a highly-motivated EH&S (Environmental, Health, & Safety) Supervisor (Group Lead) who will lead a dedicated team of EH&S Specialists who support the Wilton Development & Engineering (D&E) sector in providing leadership and continuous improvements of Workplace Health & Safety Programs. The EH&S Group Lead will report directly to the Head of Wilton EH&S. The individual will play a key role by proactively identifying and addressing risks by implementing strategic solutions that will support D&E's efforts for continuous improvements. Additionally, the individual will maintain compliance, monitor incident reporting, and analysis process, while working closely with D&E leadership, engineers, and cross sector collaboration with other sectors. With the committed support of ASML Management, promote a culture focused on safety and injury prevention to maintain and implement best practices for a comprehensive EH&S Management System.
Role and responsibilities
- Supervision of a team of EH&S Specialists supporting Wilton Development & Engineering (D&E) while providing leadership, guidance, and annual performance appraisals to the team of EH&S Specialists.
- Conduct routine 1:1 with direct reports along with other key stakeholders.
- Improve D&E EH&S performance by promoting an incident-free workplace, identifying and mitigating safety risks and implementing safety programs.
- Ensure regular hazard identification and risk assessment within all D&E lab and working spaces while ensuring implementation of relevant risk control measures.
- Work with D&E Leadership for on-going evaluations of compliance.
- Execute EH&S strategy for applicable scope in line with ASML Corporate & Wilton EH&S Roadmaps.
- Develop annual Wilton D&E EH&S Roadmap in collaboration with D&E Leadership and other key stakeholders, including the Head of Wilton EH&S and Corporate EH&S Roadmaps.
- Chair and participate in routine weekly D&E EH&S review sessions with collaboration of local & corporate D&E leadership.
- Participate and lead weekly, monthly, & quarterly D&E Leadership staff meetings, cascading EH&S updates.
- Develop and coordinate of D&E EH&S training matrix for continued execution.
- Project management and coordination of implementation of actions which drive continuous improvement. Verify the appropriateness and effectiveness of action plans associated with incidents, JSA's, & audit findings.
- Be a key stakeholder in driving safety culture improvements through various proactive initiatives by fostering a positive safety culture, engaging all levels of employees.
- Perform GEMBA walks (behavioral safety observations) in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Routine internal reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual updates).
- Data collection and analysis.
- Conduct business with the highest ethical standards and demonstrate decision-making skills that ensure the safety of all persons associated with ASML operations.

Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental / Occupational Health & Safety or related field of study.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: 10 plus years of work experience as an Environmental, Health and Safety professional.
- Professional License or Certification (GSP, ASP, CSP, CHSM, etc.) is a plus but not required.
- Strong competence & demonstrates knowledge of all Federal, State, and Local regulations.
- Demonstrates excellent project and change management skills.

- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Can work under deadlines.
- The environment generally is moderate in temperature with moderate to high noise level.
