Overview:

This is a full position, responsible for assisting different internal teams and SMEs by developing new e-learning courses, as well and updating and revising existing e-learning content. Supports other projects internally, and is responsible for documenting and updating stakeholders on the progress of tasks assigned. Effective communication skills are required for this position.

Major Functions, Roles and Responsibilities for the e-Learning Specialist are:

• Creates/Revises and maintains e-learning using a variety of software tools
• Works with project team to design and develop SCORM compliant e-Learning
• Develops storyboards and scripts for e-Learning
• Upload and configure e-Learning content into learning management system (LMS)
• Integrates emerging instructional methods and technologies into e-Learning
• Develop instructor guides, student guides, and presentations
• Apply creative design to the discipline of instructional design with an emphasis on multimedia
• Develop instructional programs that leverage new technologies and multimedia
• Apply interaction design and interactive learning principles to instructional solutions
• Ability and willingness to travel 10-20% or as needed

• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and graphic design software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop and/or InDesign)

Experience:

• 2+ years of demonstrated experience as a learning content developer
• Demonstrated experience an e-Learning developer
• Direct experience using any e-Learning development software
• Experience in Microsoft products, primarily in Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor degree in multimedia design, graphic design, or instructional design, or a related field in training development
