Electrical Engineer Intern

The R&D team is made up of an incredibly diverse set of skilled researchers and engineers with different areas of expertise including Autonomous Navigation, Perception and Computer Vision, Human-Robot Interaction and NLP, Manipulation and Control, Mechatronics, and Cloud Computing. Ideal candidates have a successful track record in productizing applications and will be able to work hand in hand with the team to deliver the newest cutting edge AI robotic ecosystem. 

Position: Electrical Engineer Intern

Location: Pasadena, CA (onsite only)

Responsibilities

• Integrate system-on-module devices into PCBAs
• PCB design and verification
• Evaluate electrical products and systems by designing testing methods
• Test finished products and system capabilities
• Keep necessary equipment operational
• Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results

Qualifications

• Solid soldering and wiring skills (especially surface mount electronics)
• Hands-on skills with electronics prototyping and troubleshooting using oscilloscope and signal generator
• Familiarity with PCB design software suites: SolidWorks, Altium Designer, OrCAD/Allegro, and/or similar design tools
• Solid understanding of embedded systems and microcontrollers
• Strong problem solving, technical, math and science skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
