Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, including both high and low voltage applications. This role involves working on construction sites, where you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems according to industry standards and safety regulations. Your expertise in understanding the National Electrical Code (NEC) will be crucial for ensuring compliance and efficiency in all tasks. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical installations and repairs. • Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues. • Ensure compliance with NEC standards during all electrical work performed. • Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently. • Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to prevent future issues. • Work with both low voltage and high voltage systems as required by project specifications. Qualifications • Proven experience as an Electrician in a construction site environment is preferred. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including installation techniques for both low voltage and high voltage applications. • Proficient in using hand tools and power tools specific to electrical work. • Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC) is essential for ensuring compliance with safety regulations. • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
