Summary
This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will not be accepted through this flyer. - You must have a valid state driver's license, a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), and electrical bucket truck operation certificate at all times.
- Ability to obtain class B commercial driver's license within six months as required operating vehicles with weight classification with air brakes.
- You will be required to successfully complete a pre-appointment physical examination.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- You will be required to lift and/or carry loads/items up to 50 pounds in weight.
- This position is "Severe Weather Essential" position. This requires continued performance of duties and responsibilities during periods of severe weather conditions.
- This position requires that the selectee complete and pass a pre-employment drug test.
- This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate: pulling cable underground, and changing out defective electrical equipment. I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.
This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. Applicants who do not receive a minimum of two points on the screen-out element(s) will be found ineligible. The Screen-out Element for this position is: I have the ability to perform common tasks including installing and pulling cable underground from source of feed through ducts. Removal and replacement of utility poles and pole hardware. I work under close supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.

Additional information
A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized.
This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
