Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical systems, including high voltage installations, renovations, and commercial projects. As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring that electrical systems are installed, maintained, and repaired according to industry standards and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems.
• Work with high voltage equipment and ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to complete electrical installations and repairs.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using voltmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working in various environments.
Skills
• Proficient in working with logic controllers and understanding their applications in electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and its implications for safe electrical work.
• Experience as a commercial electrician with a focus on building and renovating electrical systems.
• Ability to read blueprints accurately to execute installation plans effectively.
• Skilled in the use of power tools and hand tools specific to the electrical trade.
• Familiarity with high voltage systems and their maintenance requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting electrical issues.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
