Electromechanics, Principal Technical Expert

The position is responsible for the mechanical design aspects of power electronic products (Power Quality Filter Products),who works with a cross-functional team to integrate complex circuit card assemblies, discrete components, and interconnect devices into a mechanical enclosure design that meets the challenging physical, performance, thermal, and environmental requirements of the project. Responsibilities also include mechanical architecture design/placement, thermal design, stress analysis, validation testing and manufacturing support of the packaged assembly.

w Contributes to technical excellence. Influences the technical direction during offer creation or influences bricks, platforms or methods.

w Develops and deploys related innovation and expertise to offers (research, platforming, standardization, trends, partnership, intellectual property, reference documents)

w Work closely with the electrical and product owners to design and model complex electronic assemblies involving the integration of PCBs and interconnects with a mechanical chassis or enclosure.

w Design electronic chassis or enclosures and optimize the architecture to achieve a lower cost & to meet project goals for performance, testability, manufacturability, and DfSR.

w Apply industry best practices to DFX, thermal management, EMC, IP, shock and vibration.

w Analyze detailed mechanical assembly characteristics, such as bolted joints/screw connections/cable routing/hinges, tolerance stack up, and GD&T.

w Prepare and release design documentation (e.g. drawings, calculations, bills of material).

w Conduct technical design reviews with cross functional teams.

w Support the production launch and PPAP documentation.

w Execute the validation and qualification of new products, components, and assemblies, with focus on mechanical and thermal performance, and electrical functional tests.

w Work with the team to resolve challenging technical issues through creativity and innovation.

w Support multiple work assignments with shifting priorities and quickly pivot design direction as new information arises

资格

w Bachelor degree or above of Mechanical Design or related engineering field.

w 1 5 + years of experience designing mechanical design for electronic control and power supply assemblies or power quality products.

w Proficient in the use of 3D CAD software Cero (Mandatory).

w Proficient in Sheet Metal Design(Mandatory)

w Experience with the integration of printed circuit boards into mechanical assemblies (Mandatory).

w Familiar with electrical connectors and interconnect methodologies.

w CET 4+ and can use English as working language including spoken & presentation (Mandatory)

w Team work.
