Electromyography Tech

Job Summary: Perform various electrodiagnostic testing used to study nerve and muscle function, including nerve conduction studies and other neurophysiological studies, as requested by the health care provider. Educate and prepare the patient for neurodiagnostic testing. Provide technical and ancillary support to the department.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required. Registration/certification with American Association of Electrodiagnostic Technologists (AAET), AAET eligible, Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT), or Registered Nerve Conduction Study Technologist (R.NCS.T.) preferred. BLS required. At least six months experience preferred.
