We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Elementary Teacher to join our team and play a key role in shaping young minds.
Job Summary:
The Lead Elementary Teacher will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating a comprehensive educational program for students in grades (5th and 6th grades). This role includes leadership responsibilities such as mentoring other teachers, collaborating on curriculum development, and supporting a positive, student-centered school culture.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in core subject areas.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.
• Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform instruction.
• Collaborate with fellow educators, specialists, and support staff.
• Lead or support curriculum planning and instructional best practices.
• Serve as a mentor and resource to other elementary teachers.
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress and classroom activities.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Valid state teaching certification (elementary education).
• Minimum 3–5 years of classroom teaching experience at the elementary level.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in a school setting (e.g., grade-level lead, curriculum coordinator).
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with project-based learning, differentiated instruction, or blended learning.
• Familiarity with social-emotional learning (SEL) practices.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities a plus.
