Overview

Gallagher's Global Brokerage Division is looking for an experienced Email Communications Manager to join our dynamic Strategic Initiatives & Communications team. As an Internal Communication Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for managing and optimizing the use of Poppulo, a leading internal communication platform. This role entails managing distribution lists, crafting and sending emails and newsletters, and analyzing their performance and effectiveness.

How you'll make an impact

  • Platform Management:
    • Administer the Poppulo platform, including user management, access control, and customization of settings.
    • Stay updated on new features and updates released by Poppulo and assess their potential impact on internal communication strategies.
    • Oversee distribution lists, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.
    • Manage integrated communications calendar, spearheading and influencing the timing of communications.
  • Content Creation and Distribution:
    • Design and develop engaging content for internal communications using Poppulo's templates and tools.
    • Schedule and distribute communications through Poppulo's channels, ensuring accurate distribution lists are leveraged to capture audiences.
  • Cross-Team and Business Coordination
    • Collaborates with divisional internal teams, corporate business partners, and stakeholders to develop and implement Americas-wide communication strategies that effectively reach target audiences and achieve business objectives.
    • Coordinates and facilitates communication between different departments and channel partners to ensure alignment and smooth execution of messaging.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Utilize Poppulo's analytics tools to track the performance of internal communications.
    • Monitor key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, and engagement levels to evaluate the effectiveness of communications and make data-driven improvements
    • Generate reports and provide insights to stakeholders to inform decision-making and optimize communication strategies.
  • Training and Support:
    • Provide training and support to internal users and stakeholders on how to effectively use Poppulo for their communication needs.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on Poppulo, offering guidance and best practices to maximize its capabilities.

About You

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree + 5 years related experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Poppulo or comparable platform required.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft 365 applications with key strengths in Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and form relationships.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to analyze communication metrics and derive actionable insights.
  • Prior experience in the financial services or insurance brokerage industry is a plus.

Travel Requirements:

  • At most up to 5% travel, in support of special projects, when needed
