Email & Lifecycle Marketing Lead (Contract)
Job Description
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on email & lifecycle marketer to join our team on a contract basis, covering a parental leave period of approximately 4 months at about 20 hours per week. You will get to plan, build, and optimize email & lifecycle marketing programs to nurture and activate prospects as well as retain and upsell customers.
What you will be doing- Plan, develop and execute email marketing campaigns that drive engagement and conversion, including the creation of email templates, list segmentation, and analysis of campaign performance
- Develop and implement strategies to increase prospect and customer retention and engagement through lifecycle marketing initiatives, such as personalized messaging and targeted content via email and chatbot
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, sales, and customer experience teams, to ensure a cohesive and effective marketing strategy across all channels
- 7+ years of experience in email & lifecycle marketing or related field
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, segmentation strategies, and email automation platforms
- Ability to envision the entire customer journey, balancing both Bolt’s and the customer’s needs, and how email fits as just one part of it
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present ideas and results to stakeholders
- Experience with the Marketo marketing automation platform
- Experience with Drift or other chatbot platforms
- Familiarity with HTML and CSS, especially for email development
- Industry experience in a B2B startup environment
