Email Marketing Associate
Job Description
Bond Vet is on a mission to strengthen the human-animal bond through better pet care. We’re focused on urgent care, so we’re there for pets when they need us most. Our clinics are designed with pets and people in mind: warm, friendly, and highly sniffable. We balance this design with a strong focus on technology, all built in-house, which means we can easily innovate our systems to improve the veterinary team, pet, and client experience.
Bond Vet is building the next generation of veterinary clinics from the ground up — and we're looking for an analytical and client-oriented Email Marketing Associate who will own our end-to-end email program to engage and retain our clients. You will be responsible for managing our email software, maintaining our subscriber database, building out emails, recommending email content, sending timely newsletters, evaluating campaign performance, performing vigorous A/B tests, and regular reporting. Additionally, you will manage our website content and make recommendations to improve performance.
This role will work in collaboration with our growth and brand marketing teams to create a cohesive story across channels in support of our team and company growth goals.
We prefer this role to work a hybrid schedule out of our Chelsea, NYC HQ, but we are open to remote.
What You’ll do:
- Create strategies to onboard, engage, educate, and retain clients throughout their lifecycle across email, SMS, and push notifications.Â
- Design and deploy promotional, transactional, educational, and triggered campaigns to drive growth, retention, and re-engagement.
- Develop audience segmentation strategies to improve engagement and increase appointment bookings.
- Establish rigorous A/B testing processes to test creative, content, email cadence, and timing to constantly optimize performance.
- Create dashboards to monitor marketing KPIs, campaign performance, and lead acquisition.
- Interpret and communicate data insights effectively to stakeholders and senior leadership.
- Enforce email and SMS government compliance.
- Build out a system to maintain list hygiene.Â
- Oversee day-to-day website operations, including updating content, troubleshooting any issues, recommending page optimizations, oversee A/B tests, and ad-hoc projects.
- Manage and optimize lead generation landing pages.
You Have:Â
- 2-4 years experience in email marketing.
- Bachelor's degree, with a concentration in business, marketing or a similar field
- A strong background in data analytics, reporting, and A/B testing.
- Experience overseeing campaigns end-to-end — from creation to deployment to analysis.
- Experience using a variety of content and campaign strategies to educate, entertain, and inspire clients through the entire marketing lifecycle.
- Familiarity with CRM technology including marketing automation platforms and CRM tools.
- A test-and-learn mentality and an intense curiosity about data and the insights it holds about our clients.
- Drive and the flexibility to work in a hyper-growth environment.
- A knack for writing engaging content.Â
- An eye for visual design and are extremely detail-oriented and organized.
- A collaborative, team player mentality and a willingness to learn from others.
- Familiarity of email and SMS compliance and privacy policies.
We Offer:
- Support for your physical and mental wellness: 100% covered health insurance, low cost dental & vision, access to mental health support programs and free memberships to One Medical
- Time for you and loved ones: great PTO, fully paid parental leave, discounted Bond Vet services for petsÂ
- Dedication to your financial future: competitive pay, 401k match, commuter benefits
- A place to grow: culture that is centered in learning and development, career pathing, mentorships, empowerment and trust
