Email Marketing Manager
Job Description
We are looking for an Email Marketing Manager who loves to work on campaigns from beginning to end, managing them all the way from idea to deployment and then reporting the results and looking for ways to improve the next one. The person we’re looking for is a self-starter and is equal parts email marketing strategist, creative problem-solver, and project manager. If your favorite conversations include talking about conversion rates and bulletproof buttons, you might be exactly who we need.This person will support our clients’ CRM programs, leaning heavily into email marketing but also including mobile app messaging and SMS in calendar-based sends and automated series. They will work with our design, development, and deployment teams to ensure that every message we send is absolutely pixel-perfect, so it’s critical they have a keen eye for detail.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Understand email marketing best practices and stay on top of industry trends and technological advancements.
- Collaborate across Barkley teams to execute campaign strategies and communicate business requirements to designers, developers, and technical leads.
- Manage CRM marketing campaigns to deadline from idea to deployment. This includes overseeing the creative and development process of campaigns, managing the workflow to deliver campaigns on time, and maintaining the highest level of quality assurance on everything we send.
- Review email renderings across most common devices during the development process to ensure email quality and clarity.
- Lead the implementation of A/B creative tests and the analysis of testing results.
- Support the CRM Strategist in compiling engagement metrics and developing performance reports.
- Conduct audits of CRM programs, perform market and competitive analyses, and identify opportunities for new or enhanced marketing efforts.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of email marketing experience (Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience a plus).
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Familiarity with Google Sheets or Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver work on time, even with tight deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively within a team environment.
