Job Description
The Email Marketing Manager plays a crucial role within Big Ass Fans' marketing team, driving the company's approach on email marketing. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of email marketing, CRM workflow automation, the ability to define target audiences and the critical thinking skills necessary to develop and refine successful marketing strategies and messaging. He or she will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, track and project key metrics for email and recommend the appropriate investment and content to drive campaigns and increase conversions of quality leads.

Responsibilities
- Review and analyze email databases to provide strategies for recommended segmentation and campaigns.
- Execute front-end email development to produce best-in-class custom email designs (mobile optimized).
- Analyze the performance of deployed campaigns and formulate actionable insights/strategies to drive learning and optimization of future messages.
- Day-to-day program management and execution of email channel campaigns, including drip, quarterly, and channel communications.
- Strategize, conduct, and track A/B testing for creative, subject lines, frequency, time of day, week of day, calls to action, and other email content.
- Use insights and learnings to continuously improve results (open rate, CTR, conversion/sales, retention) and share actionable insights with the team.
- Optimize email sends in real-time based on performance and revenue goals.
- Support Hubspot workflow and lead automation rule creation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics, journalism, communications, or a closely related field
- 3-5 years of experience in email media strategy
- 3-5 years of experience with social media and digital marketing platforms
- 3-5 years of experience in Google Analytics, Hubspot, Salesforce, or relative ESP and CRM
- 2-4 years of experience in dealing with large email databases (500K+)
- 3-5 years of experience developing and executing successful email campaigns
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
- Experience with photo editing software such as Photoshop and Illustrator
- Must have experience with an email marketing automation tool, Hubspot preferred
- Ability to work in a face-paced environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
