This position is a critical in developing, building and testing email campaigns that touch millions of inboxes. The Email Marketing Specialist also serves as a consultant and strategist to make sure we’re complying with the latest best practices, testing new ideas, and using our tools to their fullest potential. An exceptional eye for detail, a self-starter mentality, and a hunger for constant learning are key.

This person will:

• Collaborate with other members of the email, digital marketing, and marketing teams on strategy and execution.
• Ensure all links and tracking are properly tested and functioning in all email messages.
• Manage priorities to ensure the most critical tasks are delivered on time in a high-quality manner.
• Consistently learn and evolve to deliver industry-leading email messages using the latest technology and techniques.
• Create HTML and CSS that is compatible across platforms and programs (including dark mode, etc.).
• Work closely with graphic designers to translate designs into responsive, appealing designs.
• Use Litmus as an email testing tool to ensure content is rendering appropriately across a variety of clients and inboxes.
• QA messages to ensure consistency and quality.
• Collaborate with the Email Platform Manager to thoughtfully integrate dynamic content and personalization within messages.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Required.

Experience

• 2-4 years Services industry in a comparable marketing capacity, within a mid-tier financial services company. Required.
• 4-7 years General marketing within the financial services or marketing industry. Preferred.
