About this position

The Email Marketing Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day, hands-on execution of email marketing programs in support of the Digital Marketing organization and other Plexus business unit objectives. This includes ownership of the setup, maintenance, and reporting for recurring and triggered email communications. In addition, you will maintain a current understanding of email marketing best practices and applies them to the execution of our email campaigns in collaboration with the Marketing team to optimize business revenue and engagement.

What you'll do

• You will develop behavior, stage, and persona-based nurture and engagement paths for prospects to guide down the conversion funnel.
• You are responsible for email marketing reporting and analysis to provide recommendations for marketing optimizations to enhance the performance of marketing emails. Also, accountable for staying up to date with email marketing industry benchmarks, best practices, and emerging trends and opportunities for marketing optimizations.
• You will develop behavior, stage, and persona-based nurture and engagement paths for prospects to guide down the conversion funnel.
• You will create A/B testing. Build and code email campaigns using HTML, database file/segment selection, and quality assurance of all outbound campaigns.
• You will deploy email and mobile campaigns to appropriate subscriber lists. Troubleshoot technical issues related to HTML templates, list segmentation, and other aspects of email execution, as required.
• You will communicate with internal team members effectively to execute email campaigns. Develop and document efficiencies in current and future processes. Assist management with additional projects and campaigns as needed. Participate in the organization-wide project around central data management.
• You will perform day-to-day email marketing activities including, but not limited to, email campaign set-up, scheduling, testing, tagging, and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered, and dynamic content-driven campaigns.

You should have

• A Bachelor's Degree or four years of professional work experience
• You have two or more years of experience with email marketing and campaign-building tools.
• You have experience with SalesForce Marketing Cloud email tools, including Content Builder, Content Classic, ExactTarget, Automation Studio and Journey Builder, Marketo, and Pardot.
• You have experience with HTML, AmpScript, or similar. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and website analytics tools.
• You can simultaneously work on and prioritize a high volume of projects simultaneously.
• You are adept at providing solutions and working in cross-functional areas to facilitate the successful completion of projects.
