Email Marketing Specialist

Position Summary

We are looking for a dedicated, agile marketer to join our Digital & Direct Marketing team. As a Marketing Specialist you will be responsible for implementing communication strategies that convert prospects into members. Our ideal candidate has a bias for action and the motivation to get stuff done, as well as an approach that can deliver both creativity and data-based decision-making.

We know that talented pet-loving professionals are everywhere. This is a position open to candidates anywhere in the US. If you live in a 25-mile radius from our Seattle office, this will be a hybrid remote/in-office position that requires you to work from our casual, pet-friendly office 3 days a week.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting conversion rate growth through a strategic approach to messaging and cadence across direct marketing channels (email, SMS, direct mail)
• Develop, execute and optimize email marketing campaigns to grow response and conversion rate across prospect lead audiences
• Test multichannel strategies (SMS, direct mail) to understand optimum channel/audience mix for best conversion response
• Implement A/B testing to determine where varied content or an additional communications touch could help improve conversion rate
• Use data to monitor, analyze, and optimize conversion campaign performance

Qualifications

Experience:

• 3-4 years of relevant marketing experience
• Email marketing experience required (Marketo preferred)
• Marketing content and copywriting experience required
• Strong command of HTML required
• Experience of velocity scripting (preferred)

Compensation:

• The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 on a full-time schedule
• Along with the base salary, Trupanion employees may be eligible for monthly bonuses.
• We want all employees to be invested in Trupanion’s success, so we grant Restricted Stock Units to all new team members. Our new hire grants vest over 4 years.
