Department Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist to join the Motorola Solutions Video Security & Access Control marketing team. The ideal candidate will be a power user of Hubspot and Salesforce and will possess a proven track record of success with developing, implementing, optimizing and measuring email marketing programs. This role is responsible for managing the building, scheduling, testing, QA and deployment of email demand generation campaigns and landing pages for Avigilon and IndigoVision brands.
Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Create and deploy email marketing campaigns and blasts based on internal requests leveraging Hubspot and Eloqua marketing automation system

  • Work with marketing and web teams to create landing pages

  • Maintain and cleanse email contact database within marketing CRM and Salesforce

  • Monitor and ensure the sending and deliverability health of marketing CRM

  • Create workflows associated with email campaigns; including list segmentation, validation, QA and deployment

  • Devise and execute A/B tests, manage testing calendar, record results and advise on improvements. Testing includes subject lines, CTAs, send time, and new features intended to improve performance

  • Perform rendering testing across desktop and mobile devices to ensure emails properly display

  • Understand the lead flow processes and data flow between Hubspot, Salesforce and websites

  • Analyze email and contact marketing data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization

  • Collaborate with our creative and strategic internal teams on email creative, copy and template structure based on best practices

  • Deliver automated reporting based on weekly and monthly campaign performance, identify trends, track performance and improve conversion rates for campaigns. Report on engagement including opens, clicks, unsubscribes etc

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing a B2B email marketing program that leverages Hubspot platforms

  • 2 years of experience working within a marketing CRM and automation environment

  • Experience with deliverability tracking and health monitoring tools

  • Understanding of SPF, DKIM, and DMARC requirements

  • Experience with IP and sending domain management

  • 2 years of experience segmenting, curating, and cleaning email contact databases

  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in email marketing 

  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels

  • Knowledgeable in Google Analytics and heatmap tracking

  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple digital initiatives simultaneously

  • Strong analytical skills, data-driven thinking and motivation to constantly find new ways to improve

  • Strong attention to details, self-motivated with a strong work ethic

  • Knowledge on latest digital marketing trends, best practices and innovations

  • Analytical thinker able to generate reports on the performance of online marketing activities and make recommendations based on those results

Basic Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree nice to have
  • 2+ years of experience working in email marketing
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
