SUMMARYÂ
Hiebing is looking for an email marketing strategist—someone who has experience building customer relationships through inbound marketing—specifically, email marketing, marketing automation and lead generation by crafting and translating strategies and content into effective marketing automation workflows.
The ideal candidate is curious, interested in trends and best practices for email and content marketing and automation, comfortable in an analytics-driven environment, enjoys innovating in a test-and-learn environment, finds ambiguity as an opportunity, has the drive to be self-directed and cares deeply about the customer experience and customer journey for our clients’ brands.Â
A successful marketing marketing strategist at Hiebing is a helpful mentor, team partner and client partner all rolled into one. You must have a solid understanding of agile methodologies, a passion for technology and the digital space, and intelligently speak the language and interpret and document technical requirements. We are seeking a candidate who has previous familiarity with digital marketing tactics, technologies and vendors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Â
StrategyÂ
- Provide thought leadership to identify, prioritize and quantify key business drivers and understand how a client’s CRM program will help achieve their strategic goalsÂ
- Identify strategic opportunities and recommendations to accelerate a client’s CRM and email program successÂ
- Assist clients as a trusted advisor to drive marketing initiative value and provide a program vision, roadmap, and delivery planÂ
- Review and analyze CRM databases to carry out segmentation of the database and implement customer strategies and optimal segmentation for all marketing campaignsÂ
- Lead customer journey mapping and analyze optimal touchpoints for communicationÂ
- Participate in personalized content marketing strategiesÂ
- Conceptualize and lead automated marketing programs and campaigns for Clients and ensure we’re achieving growth goals, positive ROI, and customer satisfactionÂ
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Work across teams including Create, Media and Social Media, Marketing Science to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing effortÂ
- Manage targeting strategies to improve engagement, manage list pulls and maintain a calendar to track member communications and ensure a balance between deliverability and promotionsÂ
- Lead multichannel tactics to promote engagement, retention and loyalty across email marketing, web and mobile communication and loyalty programsÂ
- Guiding clients in understanding KPIs across the customer journey and optimizing strategies based on performance results and reporting metrics
Project ManagementÂ
- Work on projects end-to-end, from scoping requirements for all marketing automation programs to guiding implementation and post-program analysis, while working closely with agency partnersÂ
- Build, Test/QA, Schedule and track campaign deploymentsÂ
- Continuously analyze results of campaigns and make recommendations for workflow improvementÂ
- Participate in the quality assurance processÂ
- Maintain campaign process documentationÂ
QUALIFICATIONS:Â
- 3-5+ years in a B2B and consumer marketing environment and at least two years managing marketing automationÂ
- Bachelor’s degree, or Associate’s degree with relevant experience, in marketing, technology, communications, journalism or a related fieldÂ
- Expertise in a variety of email marketing platforms such as Marketo, Hubspot, Iterable, KlaviyoÂ
- Experience in external CDP tools, such as Amplitude or SimonData, a plusÂ
- Proven success creating, managing and analyzing results of marketing automation campaignsÂ
- Knowledge of direct marketing best practices with knowledge of CAN-SPAM laws, email deliverability and content creation/executionÂ
- Experience with A/B testing and personalization to optimize content, offers and audience segmentationÂ
- Detail-oriented and deadline-driven, with an ability to maintain consistent pace of marketing activity and not afraid to ask questionsÂ
- Ability to work hybrid in an open-office environment
- Ability to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
