The Position:

We are looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing Operations team. You are an email and marketing automations expert who can develop, deploy and report on sequenced, ad-hoc and triggered email and other automation campaigns. You will build acquisition, engagement and retention campaigns to nurture our key customer audiences efficiently through their customer journey.  

What You'll Do:

  • Execute automated marketing campaigns with the goals of driving revenue and customer engagement
  • Work cross-functionally with Product Marketing Managers, Content, Brand Design, Experiential / Activation teams and Business Development to strategize, build and ensure program cohesion across platforms
  • Plan and execute QA testing initiatives across campaigns
  • Monitor email performance & report findings to stakeholders
  • Plan and execute A/B testing initiatives to optimize performance by turning insights into results and influencing future strategies 
  • Leverage audience segmentation & targeting to create diverse email programs throughout the customer lifecycle
  • Share HTML emails with key partnerships (i.e. Little League, State Associations, Tournaments) to deploy to their audiences

Who You Are:

  • 3+ years of email marketing experience with an understanding of full lifecycle marketing, triggered messaging, and audience segmentation
  • Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms (Braze or Iterable and HubSpot desired) with a heavy emphasis on email automation, process, measurement and analytics
  • Understanding of responsive email design, QA testing, and email best practices
  • Have a deep understanding of how data is connected and activated across digital channels, especially email, to drive superior business performance 
  • Capable of editing and troubleshooting HTML and CSS 
  • Basic knowledge of sports required
  • Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams and organizations
  • Prior management of email campaigns with strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills
  • Experience working in a start-up to scale environment
  • Previous SaaS experience in both B2B and B2C preferred
  • Change-ready - you understand that things constantly evolve and can flawlessly adapt and excel within a hyper-growth environment

The target salary range for this contract position is between $40-50 per hour. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all teammate pay regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay.
