About This Role

Zoom Video Communications is hiring an Email & Mobile Campaign Manager to drive Online Marketing & Retention initiatives for zoom.us, including but not limited to launching and optimizing new outreach channels (SMS & Push) while expanding and optimizing existing email programs to our free user base.
About the Team
The Online Marketing & Retention team is responsible for the optimization and expansion of multi-channel programs delivered throughout the online customer journey. These initiatives are designed to influence key metrics for the online business including increasing overall customer lifetime value and reducing churn. These programs focus on key stages of the customer journey including onboarding, product usage & adoption, new product awareness, platform re-engagement, upgrade/upsell, renewals and winback.
About the Role
As the Email & Mobile Campaign Manager, you will support the build and launch of a global mobile strategy (SMS & Push) to drive free user base re-engagement and conversion. You will also partner with cross-functional team members to execute, expand and optimize email campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will report directly to the Sr. Manager of Online Lifecycle & Retention within Zoom's Online organization. The team is a blend of program and campaign managers aligned to each stage of the online customer journey supported by engineering, legal, FP&A, data science, copywriters, designers, and product managers.
To be successful in this role you must have a strong foundation in mobile and email best practices, creating and executing campaigns, and tracking and reporting performance metrics. You also must be results driven and take pride in delivering a best-in-class customer experience. Experience working within Salesforce Marketing Cloud and mobile customer engagement platforms like Braze, Airship etc.
As the Email & Mobile Campaign Manager you will:
  • Partner with Freemium Lifecycle Program Manager and Data Science to develop a data-driven testing roadmap to test, optimize, and expand mobile (SMS, Push Notifications) and email campaigns
  • Drive results through testing, implementing data-driven insights, segmentation, targeting and personalization
  • Own and report against email and mobile channel KPIs for our free user base that will help contribute towards larger business goals of driving engagement, adoption, platform usage, and conversion to paid customers
  • Implement ad-hoc and trigger-based email and push notification campaigns, mastering the technical aspects of deploying these through our Marketing Automation systems
  • Partner closely with our legal and privacy partners to understand and honor regional laws and regulations pertaining to mobile marketing
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to inform and equip customer-facing teams with campaign details
  • Generate and present campaign performance reports to leadership at weekly standups
  • Oversee campaigns operations, including writing copy/creative briefs aligned to brand tone/voice and submission to cross-functional legal, localization, and brand teams for approval
  • Experience in Email and mobile campaign best practices and staying up-to-date on new trends
  • Apply a comprehensive understanding of online business initiatives and prioritize campaigns to meet quarterly revenue growth targets

About You
  • 5+ years of experience in a CRM, lifecycle, or retention marketing role, preferably with a subscription product
  • Email and Mobile Channel expertise: Launching SMS & Push Notifications. Creating, executing and optimizing email and mobile campaigns
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and mobile customer engagement platforms like Braze, Airship, etc.
  • Experience reporting on campaigns, gleaning insights, and doing data-based optimizations
  • Understanding of AB/MVT testing

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, that enable strong cross-functional partnerships
  • Strong analytical skills including the ability to distill, synthesize and draw conclusions from diverse data sources
  • Self-motivated, team-player
  • Experience working with a subscription-based product preferred

Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$73,200.00
Maximum:
$178,400.00
In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.

Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
