Email/SMS Associate

About You

Nutrafol is looking for an Email/SMS Associate to join our Customer Team. The ideal candidate is data-driven, creative, and collaborative with a proven track record of optimizing and executing successful email and SMS campaigns. In this role, you will report to the Email Marketing Manager (Retention) and play an integral role in the strategy behind our email and SMS programs for Retention, Growth, Pro and Brand channels. This individual will be involved in day-to-day planning and execution as well as the development of data-driven marketing plans.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a project manager to support the execution of email/SMS programs for multiple channels (Retention, Growth, Pro, Brand)
• Strategize and establish rigorous A/B testing methodology (specifically with ad-hoc, promotional, or product launch campaigns) to drive incremental improvements in all aspects of email/SMS marketing efforts 
• Create and implement key email/SMS customer segmentation opportunities
• Develop and oversee cohesive email/SMS reporting to track key KPIs that will inform business decision 
• Prepare periodic reports that will surface important trends and campaign progress in relevant KPIs
• Develop automation workflows and continuously optimize each step to maximize engagement
• Audit email/SMS marketing efforts to provide actionable recommendations to accelerate success or identify gaps in performance
• Collaborate with creative and brand teams to set creative direction specific to email/SMS channels
• Lead regular cross-functional meetings to manage the production and execution of campaigns from planning and creating to quality assurance (QA) and execution 

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience working on email and SMS campaigns
• Experience executing email and SMS within Iterable and Attentive or similar platforms
• Experience with reporting and web analytics tools
• Analytical mindset and creative thinker – comfortable looking at performance against core KPIs and assisting with optimizations accordingly
• Highly organized with experience in successfully managing day-to-day operations
• Comfortable working collaboratively with brand, creative, and external agency partners
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Ability to pivot and adjust to changes to support business goals
• Proven track record of achieving KPIs

Preferred:

• • Ability to code dynamic emails in HTML for all devices
  • Experience in subscription services, health and wellness, or eCommerce space
  • Familiarity within Iterable and Attentive platform or similar ESP
