The Role We are seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic email marketer for our Email & SMS Lead position. This individual will be responsible for ideating and executing retention strategies and managing Email & SMS programs for several clients. This candidate will lead weekly client calls, provide monthly strategy plans and KPI reports, and work with their team to take emails from idea to inbox. A successful candidate will be up to date on current Email & SMS best practices, communicate with their clients and team members to ensure all goals are met, and work with internal team members to improve processes. We're seeking someone who loves marketing strategies, is signed up for way too many newsletters, and is excited to join a team of email nerds. This position is a regular, full-time, exempt position. DRINKS is home-based in Los Angeles; however, we are now a remote-first company.
What You'll do
  • Meet with clients on a weekly basis to discuss Email & SMS performance, new initiatives, and ensure you are using Email & SMS channels to their full potential
  • Own Email & SMS for your clients including building emails, setting up automations, creating content calendars, A/B testing to make data driven decisions, and creating ad hoc campaigns
  • Take emails from ideation to sending within Klaviyo with the assistance of a copywriter and designer
  • Create 90-day plans for clients to align on goals and deliver on their individual Statement of Work
  • Meet with the internal Email & SMS Team weekly to discuss strategies, problems, and process improvements
  • Partner with team members to handle client issues as needed
  • Continuously test sign up forms and find new and creative ways to grow subscriber lists
  • Take on special projects as necessary

About You
  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with Klaviyo, Attentive, Shopify, and Email & SMS marketing for eCommerce Brands is required
  • Proven track record of creating and implementing Email and SMS marketing strategies that drive revenue for clients
  • In-depth understanding of Email & SMS marketing best practices including list hygiene, deliverability, laws like CAN-SPAM, and A/B testing
  • Strong focus on customer-centric marketing tactics
  • Passionate about analyzing and leveraging data to reach business goals
  • Excellent team rapport and ability to partner with internal and external team members
  • Proven experience managing multiple tasks and priorities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (email, video calls, etc.)
  • Exceptional time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Experience working in a remote environment

Primary Location : Los Angeles, CA Primary Location Compensation Range : $75,000-$85,000/yr. Exact Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
