Job Description:
Position Summary• Integration and performance measurement of food classification algorithms• Be part of sprint planning & execution. Use RTC (Rational Team Concert), JIRA to maintain product backlog & sprints• Vision system maintenance and feature enhancement• Development of platform agnostic Software Development Kit for Whirlpool's next generation appliances• Model training pipeline for Platform application• Design, verification, and unit testing of software modules• Be part of sprint planning and daily stand-up calls to discuss daily activities and issues, blockers.• Using RTC/JIRA as project backlog tool for tracking of work items and defects.• Development, enhancement, optimization of machine learning models & algorithms to
- do food classification
- food doneness detection
- do clustering & visualization of the unused images from customer
- improvements to perspective view
- improvement to rack level detections• Development of front-end web-based applications• Development of Android based applications to utilize the machine learning algorithms
Educational Qualification and Required Experience• Bachelor's/master's degree in electrical or Electronics or Computer Science Engineering.• 3+ years of experience in embedded software development & experience working on machine learning/deep learning algorithms with good debugging skills & performance enhancements of embedded systems and machine learning algorithms.• Should have exposure to source code management tool, bug tracking tool, and build environment.

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:
Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
