ASRC Federal Technical Services is seeking aSoftware Developerto join ourteam that supports the Federal Aviation Administration in Egg Harbor Township, NJ. This role will make an impact by meeting the future needs of our FAA customer that includes securing data across networks in theenterprise.

Seeking aSoftware Engineer able to support the Development, Maintenance and Testing of Real-Time Embedded Software in support of the ASR-9 Radar System.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Must be proficient with C or other high-level software language.
  • Ability to learn a new language or already have experience with PLM-86.
  • Experience in designing, developing, optimizing, coding, testing, reviewing and debugging embedded systems with real-time multitasking operating systems.
  • Designs and develops code for physical hardware devices utilizing software applications to solve problems and implement systems.
  • Experience with utilizing a Logic Analyzer to troubleshoot embedded computer systems.
  • Validate and integrate new designs for the complex systems.


Other Job Functions

  • Track preparation and delivery status of required deliverables.
  • Attend and may lead meetings, design reviews, working group and briefings
  • Knowledge in programming, developing, testing an embedded real-time computer system is a must.
  • Occasional travel for installations and/or technical support if needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Math, or a Bachelor's degree in another technical field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and twenty (20) years of related work experience in a computer science or math field; OR, Master's Degree in any field of study with a minimum thirty (30) semester hours of either undergrad or grad study in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and sixteen (16) years related work experience in a computer science or math field. OR,PhD or Doctorial in a related field with a minimum of thirty (30) semester hours of either undergrad or grad study in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science and six (6) years of related work experience in a computer science or math field.
  • Must be proficient with C or other high-level software language.
