Job Description

As an Embedded Software Developer on the Firmware Development team, you will make a positive impact by:

• Developing Firmware for IoT microcontrollers with embedded wireless transceivers based on ARM Cortex M3/M4 and processor cores.
• including FW architectural design, coding in C, verification, testing, review and optimization.
• Maintaining and improving FW of released products, supporting production department in case of unexpected problems.
• From time to time: code optimization for size, performance and energy, support during production ramp-up of new products.

Qualifications

Experience:

• 2-3 years in Embedded Software Development or a similar position

Skills:

• Very good knowledge of C required
• Knowledge of C++ and/or C# or Python as well as scripting languages an advantage
• Strong interest in electronics development (circuit design, firmware development
• PC-SW development, RC modelling) desired
• Familiarity with ARM Cortex or architectures
• Familiarity with C++, C#, Python or script languages is a plus
• fluent english

• A technical mindset with pro active, independent, systematic work approach and great attention to detail
• Open, stress resistant
• good in changing tasks often
• Understand how to balance the practical and perfection
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Eagerness to continually learn and improve

Education:

• University degree in software engineering, electronics or comparable
