We have several exciting intern opportunities in Indianapolis, IN within our Embedded Control Systems teams.

Embedded Software Development Intern

• Translating system requirements into embedded software
• Ensuring system design meets internal and external customer requirements
• Control system integration design including communication systems, propulsion system interface functions, and vehicle interfaces
• Utilize model-based simulation, HIL, and other test assets to create system designs and refine functionality
• Develop/Execute test plans to validate system design
• Work in MATLAB and Simulink, software and hardware in the loop systems, propulsion system test cells, and test vehicle environments to develop our cutting-edge systems.
• Develop engineering proof of concepts for prototype initiatives

Experience:

Required

• Currently pursuing Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or similar discipline
• Proficient in C/C++
• Strong interest in embedded control system design and development
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred

• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink
• Understanding of vehicle networks (CAN)
• Demonstrated, hands-on experience with design, implementation, problem solving, and validating complex control software for Embedded Systems
• Experience working with Powertrain or Vehicle Embedded Control Systems
• Experience using HIL/SIL/MIL environments for product development
