We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to work with our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background and education in software engineering. Want to play a critical role in driving innovation, ensuring product success, and fostering a collaborative work environment?

Position Location: Portland, OR
As the Embedded Software Engineer, your contributions to the team will include:
- Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment.
- Design, develop, code, test and debug system software.
- Review code and design with co-workers and architect.
- Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources.
- Support software QA and optimize I/O performance.
- Provide post production support.
- Interface with hardware design and development.
- Assess third party and open source software.
What we ask of you:
- 2-year degree Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
- 2+ years of industry experience
- Solid programming experience in Python, and C or C++.
- Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems
- Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems
Familiarity with:
- Azure, IIS based websites implementation
- Software specification experience
- Software validation and regression testing
- Experience with the following is a plus: Linux, Qt, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL Server database component development and management.
