We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to work with our team. The ideal candidate has a strong background and education in software engineering. Want to play a critical role in driving innovation, ensuring product success, and fostering a collaborative work environment?

Position Location: Portland, OR

As the Embedded Software Engineer, your contributions to the team will include:

• Design and implement software of embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment.
• Design, develop, code, test and debug system software.
• Review code and design with co-workers and architect.
• Analyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources.
• Support software QA and optimize I/O performance.
• Provide post production support.
• Interface with hardware design and development.
• Assess third party and open source software.

What we ask of you:

• 2-year degree Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• 2+ years of industry experience
• Solid programming experience in Python, and C or C++.
• Excellent knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems
• Proven experience in embedded systems design with preemptive, multitasking real-time operating systems

Familiarity with:

• Azure, IIS based websites implementation
• Software specification experience
• Software validation and regression testing
• Experience with the following is a plus: Linux, Qt, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL Server database component development and management.
