Enjoy working with a team of talented engineers shaping the Navigation, Flight Guidance and Sensing products of the future. Be part of a team that designs, develops and integrates highly complex software functions within Honeywell Aerospace - Sensing, Guidance and Navigation (SG&N).

You will be instrumental in designing, planning and coordinating work teams, as well as providing technical support. You will also generate innovative solutions, trying different and novel ways to deal with problems and opportunities

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in full lifecycle development of navigational solutions via embedded real time safety critical software.
• Participate in full Software Product Design Lifecycle (Requirements, design, architecture, implementation, integration, testing, release, and continuous feedback)
• Embedded systems development in C/C++, Python, and scripting languages
• Hardware and software debug with lab equipment (Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, etc)
• Verification, Validation, test plan creation, and peer reviews
• Software and Algorithm development skills
• Feature Definition and Design Tradeoffs

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelors degree in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
• Embedded real-time software development experience.
• Interest or experience in high-rigor software development (aerospace, medical devices, automotive, industrial, etc)
• Must be US Citizen due to contractual requirements

WE VALUE

• Wide degree of creativity, latitude, and interest in learning new things
• Previous experience with embedded systems, real time systems development, IoT devices, serial communications, hardware / software debugging, reading schematics
• Embedded systems development using C/C++ and/or ADA
• Knowledge of software configuration management and change management practices
• Understanding various software development lifecycles
• Experience with any of the following is a benefit - e.g. Matlab, Simulink, LabView, Python, Greenhills, Vitis, VHDL FPGA, PPC, ARM assembly, Math Modeling, DO-178B/C DAL-A process, RM tools (DOORS, etc.)
