Embedded Software Engineer Intern

You will take responsibilities for developing automotive software and low-level embedded system software for an autonomous vehicle (AV) including small footprint, real-time operating system and its software stack, automotive grade middleware, and device drivers in a complex computing platform.

• Develop regression process to support HW/SW validation and system benchmarking
• Define and examine hardware software interfaces for system bring-up
• Evaluate new software tools, hardware eval systems to support the system architecture design
• Develop test cases to support MCU software validation and regression process
• Must be able to work onsite

• BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics, or similar
• 1+ years hands-on development of embedded software of intelligent systems
• Familiar with C or C++, and scripting language such as Python or Bash
• Hands-on knowledge of 8-bit, 16-bit or 32-bit micro-controllers and their I/O programming

• Knowledge of embedded Linux OS, RTOS, embedded software build flow, make process
• Hands-on experiences with hardware debugging and testing
• Knowledge of sensor data processing pipeline for camera, radar, lidar, imu, and gnss
