EMC Test Engineer

Cascade Engineering services Inc. is looking for an Engineer who's responsible for planning, testing, reporting and implementation of reliability activities for the development and manufacturing of consumer electronic products.

Qualification:

• BSEE or BS Physics with electrical courses (circuit theory, Computer architecture, RF, EMC)
• Little Experience to EMC is ok. Must be willing to learn to and grow from mistakes.
• Must live in Washington state within 25-30 miles of Redmond.

Requirements

• Preform RF EXPOSURE TESTS like SAR (Specific absorption rate), power density (PD) for ITE/ Consumer electronic products.

Minimum requirement

• [Electromagnetic compliance] testing of: IT/Consumer electronic products in accordance with different international regulatory standards.
• Working knowledge of wireless communication and RF principles either from educational courses or work experience.
• Experience working in a lab either in school/college or work environment.
• Hands on used of some of the RF Lab equipment like: Spectrum analyzer, vector network analyzer, power meter, signal generator, oscilloscope.
• Aptitude and desire to learn in enhancing technical knowledge.

Preferred/plus

• Understanding of RF measurement techniques
• Experience working wireless technology such as: cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
• Experience using any of the following: RF/SAR Test system: DAISY5/6/8, cSAR, CMW500, key site UXM, Qualcom/intel wireless FTM.
• Knowledge/understanding of FCC, European and other international regulatory standards.
