EMEA Services Partner Engineer

Service Partner Engineers provide world-class professional services enablement and training to help develop and grow Zscaler’s Service Authorized partners service delivery capabilities. This role works closely with Zscaler’s channel organization, professional services delivery teams and other internal resources to help Service Authorized partners grow their capabilities and services practices supporting Zscaler products. 

The Service Partner Engineer is an individual contributor responsible for enabling partners with technical skills, delivery methodologies and leading practices around design and deployment of Zscaler’s products. They are a key resource that Partners will rely on as a trusted advisor in the creation and growth of a robust services practice that supports successful customer outcomes.

Educate our Authorized Partners on digital application transformation with Zscaler. Deep dive into Zscaler use cases and work with our partners to develop their technical capabilities to deliver and manage comprehensive service offerings.

Partner engineers will deliver enablement workshops with partners to ensure they are trained to Zscaler best practice on the platform features and functionality. 

New partners to become authorized will require project deployment shadowing to ensure they are delivering to a high standard of services to customers, these deployments will require shadowing by the Services Partner Engineer.

This role will primarily support partners covering the following regions: Middle East, Europe and India. However, duties may expand beyond these regions based upon current needs. The role can be supported remotely, ideally within one of the focus regions.

Responsibilities

• Engage and support Zscaler’s Service Authorized partners by providing guidance and enablement in the practice of deployment of Zscaler products, including design, testing processes, leading practices, and project execution.
• Provide deal-specific guidance and assistance for deployment planning, design recommendations, and scoping processes.
• Collaborate with strategic partners in SoW construction, joint delivery planning, and resource alignment to ensure project success 
• Become a Zscaler cloud service expert through self-study, company training, and a desire to excel

• Strong verbal and written communication skills - fluency in Business English (Arabic would be desirable)
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalently advanced industry certifications
• Experience with direct customer engagement, including presentations & workshop scenarios
• Experience as a Deployment Engineer, Professional Services Consultant, Technical Account Manager, Sr. Support Engineer or similar, supporting networking or web security products 
• Knowledge of networking and security products and enterprise network infrastructure
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, especially HTTP and DNS,
• Knowledge of IT Security, PKI, SSL/TLS
• Experience with Linux and/or FreeBSD
• Networking Experience - VPN technologies such as IPsec and VPN clients
• Network troubleshooting experience - Familiarity with tools such as Ping, Traceroute, MTR, and Network Protocol Analysers such as tcpdump, Wireshark
• Knowledge of authentication systems such as MS AD, SAML is a plus
• Knowledge of Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus
• Travel 25% to support partner engagements, technical enablement, and internal development.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000 to $160,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, location and relevant education or training.
