Job Title: Emergency Department Physician Assistant - Full Time (FT)
Department: Emergency
Reports To: Director, Emergency Department
Shifts: 12-Hour Shifts or 24-Hour Shifts – Day and Night Shifts Available
 We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Emergency Department team.  What You'll Do:
- Perform comprehensive medical screening exams on patients of all ages
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and initiate appropriate therapies
- Provide wound care including suturing, incision and drainage, and splinting
- Manage minor orthopedic emergencies such as joint dislocations and fractures
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff in patient care
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care
- Admit patients requiring inpatient care and coordinate specialty referrals as needed
 What You Need:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree from an ARC-PA accredited PA program
- Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Nebraska
- Current NCCPA certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Certification in either NRP or PALS
- Proof of having “monitored” an Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) course (required for Emergency Department coverage)
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Physician Assistant in an acute care setting
