Emergency Medicine PA Opportunity at Level II Trauma Center in IL

Carle Health is seeking an additional Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Department at Carle Health Methodist Hospital in Peoria, Illinois.

Position Details Include:

• Full time position with flexible scheduling (12 hour shifts)
• Level II Trauma Center serving the Peoria, IL community
• Holidays and weekends split evenly among group.
• Annual visit volume = 36,000
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
• Located on the Illinois River, Peoria is a vibrant, affordable, and convenient city with multiple dining and entertainment venues as well as nearby residential communities with highly ranked public-school districts

Education Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant
• Inpatient and/or Emergency Medicine experience preferred

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

• Current Illinois physician assistant licensure
• American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification
