Emerging Talent Program Manager (Hybrid - Memphis, TN or Andover, MA)

Smith+Nephew is hiring a Program Specialist, Emerging Talent, to join our Center of Excellent Team in human resources. In this role you will be a strategic partner supporting the design and execution of emerging talent learning and development programs, and for implementing our programs across the organization.

What will you be doing?

  • Design and deliver the principles and components of key programs, including but not limited to: High school, Internship, Micro internship, Apprentice and Leadership Development Programs
  • Provide participant support to maintain engagement and drive a good participant experience
  • Lead the production and update of the Program(s) calendar, information, and participant directory
  • Define and lead the tracking and reporting of Program evaluation and effectiveness, including, return on investment and key success metrics
  • Train and educate employees, people leaders and HR on Emerging Talent programs
  • Work collaboratively with HRBPs to identify and forecast levels and needs for each emerging talent programs
  • Provide effective Program attraction and support recruitment strategies and approaches both at enterprise and regional levels

What will you need to be successful?

Education:

  • University degree in HR or related field; degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Communications, Training, and Development, or other similar concentrations required; MBA/Master's degree is a plus
  • Professional HR, OD, Learning, and Development related certifications are preferred such as SPHR, SHRM-SCP, ATD

Experience:

  • 6-8 years of experience in Emerging Talent program design, development, and implementation
  • Demonstrated in depth knowledge of Emerging Talent learning theory, e-learning technologies, tools, and instructional design skills preferred
  • Manage budget and deliver reporting of key metrics and benchmarking data to the organization including the measurement of quality of hire, diversity, conversion, and long-term retention
  • Strong virtual and in-person training, mentoring, and facilitation skills
  • Ability and experience in identifying and recommending enterprise-wide learning and development programs and solutions preferred
  • Ability to effectively run large-scale enterprise-wide programs and projects.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify areas for improvement
  • Proficient with systems such as Teams SharePoint, Saba, Workday, MS Office Suite
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
