The Hilb Group is currently seeking a motivated and ambitious Employee Benefit Support Coordinator to join our team. This position will report to our agency located in Mansfield, MA. The ideal candidate will be motivated to succeed, is well organized, able to prioritize, and able to work well with a team. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

  • Process employee enrollments, changes, and terminations for medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and other benefits programs.
  • Work with insurance carriers and internal team to resolve eligibility discrepancies.
  • Support client compliance by gathering and sending compliance packages, ERISA wrap documents, and 5500 filings.
  • Process reports from payroll systems to assist clients with Health & Welfare Non-Discrimination testing.
  • Process reconciliation from Reconciliation team.
  • Assist with the HRK Assist box, responding to level 1 or 2 employee inquiries (phone calls and emails) within 24 hours of receipt.
  • Assist in researching client and their employees' questions regarding benefits, policies, and any other issues.
  • Assist with benefit communications.
  • Serve as a back-up contact for client and employee inquiries regarding leaves of absence (LOA)
  • Utilize internal tracking system to retrieve work in priority order.
  • Enter work into internal tracking system.
  • Maintain highly confidential employee Personal Health Information and files. Ensure HIPPA compliance.

Qualifications:

  • High school or Bachelor's degree
  • At least 1 to 2 years of previous experience in HR/Benefits is preferred, but not required.
  • Developed computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Must be willing and able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactory.
