The role's primary focus is to work with the marketing team to develop and deliver a quality lead-generation pipeline. You will be impactful in taking new qualified leads and following them through the sales cycle to a successfully closed opportunity.

Primary Responsibilities
- This role will help assist our national team of employee benefits sales professional in contacting potential clients.
- Collaborate with sales leaders to identify named accounts for outbound prospecting.
- Work closely with sales leaders in each region to create and follow up on local marketing efforts.
- Researching and identifying prospects using sales engagement platforms to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Develop relationships with prospective clients and decision makers, including CFO, COO, VP of Human Resources, and HR staff.
- Have daily activity responsibility against individual lead qualification and discovery meeting setting goals.
- Initiate the sales process through outbound calls daily to identify new sales opportunities via email, phone calls and other methods such as LinkedIn/ Twitter/ Instagram and other social media outlets.
- Following up on communications to prospect to secure calls and meetings for business development executives.
- Document in Salesforce with key information to clearly communicate prospect profile, key contacts and overall opportunity detail.
- Leverage all tools available to identify prospective clients who could benefit from EPIC’s services and products.
- Maintain data integrity in Salesforce through ongoing data cleanup, management and enrichment.
- Gather market intelligence and relay to your leadership to improve offerings and communication for market needs.

- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
- High attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and proven ability to persevere.
- Ability to travel as business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Sales background and experience.
Salary and Benefits
Salary is based on background and experience. Benefits include full medical, pharmacy, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, sick leave, 401k match and annual bonus potential.

The national average salary for this role is $50k - $60k in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
