Employee Communications Internship

nVent's Employee Communications Internship will provide the opportunity to support a variety of different facets of the communications function, gaining exposure and valuable development experiences within a global manufacturing organization. This internship will start in a part-time capacity this Spring, then will become a 10-week full-time internship during Summer 2023 and will be based out of nVent's St. Louis Park, MN office.

In this position, you will get to:

• Support our Employee Communications team by writing, editing, proofreading and publishing content
• Help build and manage a new employee engagement platform
• Contribute to multimedia messages, including learning to shoot and edit videos and photography
• Develop a portfolio of writing samples, refine your writing skills for a diverse, global audience and gain valuable real-world experience developing internal content
• Be part of an energetic and talented team of communicators who are building a reputation of strategic, creative work focused on our employees

Internship Details:

• Interns are paid hourly for time worked
• Interns are responsible for transportation to and from work
• Interns who demonstrate outstanding performance may be offered a subsequent internship or full-time offer of employment with nVent
• The Employee Communications Internship will be based out of nVent's St. Louis Park, MN office
• Interns are offered a flexible, hybrid work environment
