The Opportunity *This is a fully remote opportunity*
The Employee Communications Manager will help us share our unique culture by creating and implementing communications strategies which support our Production, Human Resources, Berkadia Way, Technology and corporate recruitment marketing and brand efforts. This individual will also lead employee engagement in partnership with other employee experience programs through internal and external communications. The Employee Communications Manager should be creative, a strong leader and strategic thinker, who is able to provide strategic counsel and flawless execution on a wide range of projects for internal and external audiences across all communications channels and platforms. This person will report directly to the Director - Internal Communications.
- Create campaigns, initiatives and messaging to support Berkadia’s focus on employee experience through Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Diversity, Inclusion, Equity & Belonging (DEIB), Human Resources, and Innovation communications.
- Serve as the marketing point of contact for all employer brand projects and programs
- Produce and coordinate content execution for careers website and other channels
- Manage talent brand agency partner relationships
- Manage the overarching plans for employee engagement including editorial calendar planning, external engagement and thought leadership strategy.
- Prioritize employee experience and recruiting projects and tasks to report up to the leadership team.
- Conduct regular audits, metrics analysis and gather employee feedback to ensure support of strategy and goals, identify successes and implement enhancements as needed.
- Stay informed and up-to-date on communications trends, technologies and best practices, and provide insight and actionable recommendations.
- Coordinate the preparation of company publications and articles by confirming artwork, verifying facts, and confirming approval with the Director of Internal Communications.
- Ensure all work follows editorial policies and standards.
- Post and write content for the Be Berkadia intranet.
- Assist with developing the content of brochures, handbooks, or emails.
- Other duties and responsibilities in support of the Corporate Marketing team as needed or requested.

What someone will need to be successful in this role
- Four to Ten years of prior experience in a similar position
- Experience with web content management systems is strongly preferred:
- Dreamweaver
- Adobe Creative suite
- Email distribution tools
- Working knowledge of HTML for email web, basic graphics design, and other layout concepts strongly preferred
- Experience with email analytics preferred
